Todays workout:
Hang Clean: bar x alot, 95x several x2 - not sure how many
Clean: 135x10, 155x3x3, 175x3x3 - I bet I am in the 225 range really soon - putting the weight back down is by far the hardest part
(b/c of my fucking shoulder!)
Front Squat: 135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 225x3x2
Leg Ext: 4 plates x12, 6 plates x8x3
I am tinkering w/ Cleans - had the trainer at the gym watch me (ex Div1 powerlifter) and he said I was spot on - tweaked my hand position and got me on my toes better but he said I was looking good - this is great as I will not be pressing overhead or doing any incline work for at least 2 weeks due to the left shoulders recent vagina tear.
On another note the Cleans are helping my flexability in the wrists. In the past I have choke-griped my Front Squats but today I was able to do all but my final 225 set in a Clean grip - I was amazed to be honest. My wrists were burning at 185 and 225 but I was amazed at how fast the "pain" went away - it was great.
I am turning into a real man finally.....well, maybe.......bench numbers aside of course!
