Deadlifting my way to Happiness - Al420's log

Weight this AM: 231

Todays workout:

Back Squat:135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 275x5, 315x5, 365x5, 365x3 - for some reason I am getting stuck w/ this weight - I would love a training partner.
Jump Shrugs:135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x5, 315x5, 315x5
Decline Situp:bwx20, bwx20, bwx20


Did some calfs as well - nothing special but I did superset them w/ my decline ab sets. Decent workout. The dbol is out of my body which kinda sucks as I already feel smaller. Don't look it though! :chomp:

In the absence of that, I guess we'll just have to give you a kick in the ass. ;)

You just have to overcome the proverbial little voice in your head that's telling you it's heavy and realize that, especially with the amount of food/gear you're putting in your body, you can handle it and keep adding weight to the bar.

Try to just put those 35 lbs. plates on, and just forget that those stupid 25 pounders even are there...... :mix:

I might have a training partner in about 90 days...

Todays workout: Nothing was planned but I felt really "alive" so I decided to head to the gym. Trained after only eating once but yesterday was a 7k cal day so I think that was why I felt so great this AM.

Pendlay Row:95x10, 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 195x4(PR), 215x3(PR)
HS Seated Rear Delt:2plates x10, 4 plates x10, 6 plates x10, 8 plates x10 - what a bullshit machine. I had it stacked to the end and it still was not heavy. Total crap.
HS Low Row:2 plates x10, 4 plates x8, 6 plates x8, 6 plates x6
SM Seated BTH Military:95x10, 135x8, 155x8, 185x7, 185x4


It was a pretty :rainbow: workout but I felt like toying around and seeing how strong/weak I was on some machines I used to use. My shoulders were still a little sore from Fridays pressing - chest is wrecked. I just wanted to get them pumped to be honest. I look like a cartoon character about half way through my workouts, and any time I do any isolation work I just blow the fuck up - like the bugs bunny cartoons when he puts his thumb in his mouth and blows himself up - needless to say I love the way this feels. I am already thinking about my cycle ending and I don't like the idea at all........... :mix:

hmm...wouldn't db presses or bb presses (being such a strict movement) hurt your shoulders more?
