Find a room in your house that has a hook or something on the ceiling. Then, suspend a rope from the hook or bar or whatever, so that the bottom end of the rope is about even with your nose when you are in a defensive or neutral boxing stance. Then attach something to the end of the rope, like maybe a volleyball, and swing it away from yourself. As it comes back, move your head out of the way with a quick movement of your neck (this is called a slip). Try not to use your shoulders and torso too much, they will move but the movement should be powered by your neck. As you get better at this, it will help to have someone actually throw the rope towards you, so as to allow yourself to pratice dodging something with more speed.
Also, keep in mind that no one can nimbly dodge every punch, try to keep you guard up and take every punch in the glove or forearm. The gym in which I train has a cable machine designed for neck presses/neck rolls, if you can get access to one of these it would help immesely. Neck strength is important both for dodging and for not getting knocked stupic when a puch does land.
