Yesterday, for the first time(suprisingly), I gave Chest/Back supersets a go, I have always trained my arms this way and said "why not try it". I did this because in no way should the contrasting lifts interfere with each other, back movements won't take away from my chest and vice versa, only a little more energy expenditure took place but I handled that with more carbs in my pre meal workout. Also, did this to have a day for just Deadlifts only(its going to workout well I believe).
Well, it was insane(in a good way). First exercise combo was Incline Press with Pullups(bodyweight).
Started off with a set of 12 with 275, right when I was done, quickly went to the pullup bar and performed a set of 15 reps, repeated that, then did a more methodical set of 4 seconds on the positive, 2 seconds on the negative for both movements, good stuff.
Next combo, Incline Flyes to Seated Cable Rows.
Last Combo, Cable Flyes(1 set from bottom, 1 set from top) to Bent Over Dumbell Rows(simultaneous).
This workout was solid, gave it 100%, honestly, I had a pump that could not be denied, I would of posed down with anyone on the planet and would of done well, anyone. peace to this new shit I'm trying
