Cardio, CKD etc etc....

Okay, so I've been doing the CKD thing for over two weeks now and I like it a whole lot.... not HUGELY noticeable results, but I was reasonably lean anyway before I started and I did have one motherfucking huge cheat day last Sunday.... ooh boy, did I stuff myself that day....

.... anyway, the point is.... I find it difficult to do weights/cardio on schedule. Sometimes my work runs into overtime, sometimes I just find myself to be completely screwed after work and couldn't even think about lifting a weight or getting on the treadmill.... and sometimes I don't get to bed early enough, and can't get up an hour early in the morning for cardio.

I do a bit, but just not every day.... my question is.... if I follow Mr. X's CKD recommendations but not all the cardio recommendations, what will happen? Will eating 12cal/lb of bodyweight and not doing cardio every day still cause me to lose fat? Will I still be in ketosis?

I'm wondering if cardio is absolutely essential for the CKD to work, or whether it's just a means to quicker and better results? Because I can't do cardio every day....

good question... I'm pretty sure you'll stay in Ketosis w/o cardio because thats not a requirement. I have a hard time fitting cardio into my schedule as well.

if not ALL the cardio, and some, you'll still be in good shape

Will eating 12cal/lb of bodyweight and not doing cardio every day still cause me to lose fat?
yeah of course, as long as you workout at least

Will I still be in ketosis?
yes, as long as you don't eat carbs

I'm wondering if cardio is absolutely essential for the CKD
to get back into ketosis, discounting insulin, cardio is the best way, in my view, to burn off liver glycogen

to work, or whether it's just a means to quicker and better results?
quicker and better, but you can still get results w/o doing it

I dont see much weight loss hapening with cal X 12 ED X12 is used for maintnance and not for weight loss, ive heard that cardio is not nessesary on a CKD diet until probably like week 4 when fat loss slows down
