All in all, yesterdays training was a success in terms of becoming familiar with the various car pulling techniques; especially the "hand over hand" that will be used Saturday.
I'll be ready for this Saturday in Boise.
I'll post just a couple of more pics and then I'm done. This past Friday was obviously the last real event training session til the contest. We performed clean/push presses, farmer walks, and due to my suggestion, tire flips. We ended the evening with sand bag relays. I did not need to train at 90%; the goal was to get a good idea of where I was at. But I did use contest weight in all the implements. (85lb Apollons Axle clean/push press, 100lb Farmers)
