candy as simple carbs post workout

i never ever eat candy or sugar anymore. ever since i turned to a health freak. post workout nutrition is one of the most important parts of someones training regimen. you guys know how your should get those simple carbs in after your workout to replenish muscle glycogen. what do you guys use? dexotrose? i usually eat a couple frozen bananas and maybe a spoonful of table sugar. lately ive been just eating some candy. is this good enough to replenish muscle glycogen?

I drink a Sobe afterworkout in the gym. Protien with whole milk at home and after that a few pieces of candy.
Plus this is the season to buy candy. Right after Halloween you can get it real cheap.

If there is ever a good time to indulge with some candy or other sweets, it would be post work out. You will get a quick insulin release so your muscles can absorb all of the nutrients. but don't forget the protein also.

Candy is the wrong kind of simple carbs. Sugars derived from fruits or fruit juices are more beneficial because they aren't as refined.
