Calling Mr. X!

In a previous thread you said that the macronutrient ratios below looked good (which I agree with…especially for a guy with a BF% above the 12-14ish range).

My question is what would you do to adjust these ratios for a female? My girlfriend is about 25-30%BF. Would it be good to drop the carbs lower, or to leave everything as is until her progress stops?

Many thanks for your willingness to share your knowledge!

Training Days

240lbs x 1.25 grams of Protein...300 grams(41.25%)
240lbs x 1 gram of Carbs............240 grams(33%)
240lbs x .35 gram of Fat.............84 grams(25.75%)

Off Days

240lbs x 1.25 grams of Protein...300 grams(49.25%)
240lbs x .5 gram of Carbs...........120 grams(19.75%)
240lbs x .35 gram of Fat..............84 grams(31%)

Mostly healthy fats of course (nuts, olive oil, fish oil, natural PB etc...)

Her carbs will be a mixture of high and medium GI. The majority will be centered around her workout. Other than that, her carbs intake the rest of the day caome from an apple or two and just the scrap "1 here 2 there" type carbs from her other food sources.

50%protein/20%carbs/30%fat, weight x 10

This is for the first 4 weeks, see how her results are, then we can adjust the ratios.
