Hey Bunns - thanks for the K the other day :heart:

I have been recommended valerian (along with my ZMA) - capsule form - for night time and Mexican Valerian (a lighter dose) for day time. I'll be getting some this weekend.

I was also recommended St Johns Wort but I'm not sure about that based upon what I've read about it.

St. Johns Wort is more to balance your mood than for sleeping.

Agreed with that. :)

Kava Kava is the other herbal for relaxing and sleep I forgot to mention. Never tried it before myself. 5HT is supposed to be helpful as well.

I do feel I cannot sleep b/c I think of these irrational moods, anxiety, stress etc... and inability to hit the gym PM ... BLAH, ignore me, I'm cranky & still HUNGRY!

I think you need to go by how you feel, how you look, take tape measurements, and weekly photos, how your clothes fit, etc.... my jeans are tight in the butt doesn't mean you are fat, you may have added muscle, reshaped some areas & lifted it a little (b/c YES I've done it) and if you want to do Bodyfat every week, have the BF pinch the SAME sites, with everything surrounding the 2 week period the same, (previous workout, meal intake, water intake to minimize all error etc) then use it to gauge your progress ... do NOT get hung up on the #'s .. I speak from experience ...
One day you will be happy, it went your way, the next week it could go up & you cry, yet your pants are looser, you see more defitinion, yet that # is 2% off what you want it to me ...


I think you should not get involved with those #'s unless you can use them to HELP you ... whether they go your way or not ... :heart:
