Ambien (5mg) helps me fall asleep and I don't have any ill effects (grogginess, etc) in the morning.....

Missy to answer your question sarge suggested some teas b/c I hate Tea .. so I told him I'd TRY it .. alex has brought up Val. Root before & your suggestions are in line with what I'm looking for :)

You can get those herbal in a drop and just add it to alittle water ( I know how you love your water lol)

I have been recommended valerian (along with my ZMA) - capsule form - for night time and Mexican Valerian (a lighter dose) for day time. I'll be getting some this weekend.

I was also recommended St Johns Wort but I'm not sure about that based upon what I've read about it.

St. Johns Wort is more to balance your mood than for sleeping.

Kava Kava is the other herbal for relaxing and sleep I forgot to mention. Never tried it before myself. 5HT is supposed to be helpful as well.

One day you will be happy, it went your way, the next week it could go up & you cry, yet your pants are looser, you see more defitinion, yet that # is 2% off what you want it to me ...


I think you should not get involved with those #'s unless you can use them to HELP you ... whether they go your way or not ... :heart:

Actual stoke and timing is so similar, getting the ball on target is another one, prescision!
Knowing that strength is not the way to go on the tee, as in lifting...Lifting without form will hurt you...It's a stange comparison I know...But oh so similar.
I hope the sunshines and I get some sense whacked into this head LOL.

I got to see my gym friends 7 play catch up, since everyone was really worried ... I feel bad, like dang, maybe i need to get the #'s since they worry about the ''regulars' ... I :heart: my gym ... (dreaming here) I want to drive to the city this weekend, pending weather & just go blading or for a run .. but that is in my perfect world ... as I have many other things that must be taken care of .. you know the drill ... no sun, too hot, spf in 90 degree heat just doesn't work ... time alone to get lost in a long run or blade up the lake front ... hat pulled down, shades locked, focus, iPOD cranked ... whateva .. I always got the gym, & family business, and my massage on sat. ... thank the lawd, I am NOT rescheduling that again ...

*** I had a GREAT day today … after a much needed epiphany last night, I feel a sense of renewal, and I must focus on that. (Well, whaddya know, as soon as I type this … I just reach another low .. but it WILL be another high soon … It MUST) :rose: I have a load of files calling name on my desk to handle, but I took care of ME first today … as I promised myself I would. I had a great workout … & wished I could’ve run to the gym b/c it was beautiful out, but I know I had to get my Sanity Massage in. Hope those gym goers that hit the beach had a great time for me, like I told ya to!! My (rescheduled & long overdo) 90 minute deep tissue with “Magic Hands Katie” went awesome. When she says she didn’t go hard all of you would cringe, but in light of recent health issues, I let it slide :D ;). The majority of the time was spent on my back (again, this type 2 ½ weeks of NOT training …) and she really doesn’t like me not training (I :heart : her) tightens me up & one spot that wouldn’t ‘give’ is going to be addressed as soon as I make time to see her again & immediately follow that with the in house Doc (Chiro) to be adjusted, and THEN I was going to possible give acupuncture a try for stress relief. This is all something I have been planning, just so very difficult to work everything in to meet ONE schedule. Nails & pedicure completed as well (MUCH needed Fill & foot work, both nice & pretty Frenchly manicured) … After the *Bunny Approval* of Maxima, I can visit with the P’s & puppy, and it seems the normal Father’s day Plans will be rained out, upon which I am partly happy about, & still at the same time feel slightly guilty…. Oh and here comes my brother … just dropped of the boat ... long fun day on the water & they are all dark as h3ll ... Great girl ... and really work hard on that HIIT ... For those that incorp HIIT ... I am going to repost a comment on doing ~ 20 minutes of true HIIT posted previously by Daisy Girl ... "... if you are TRUELY going at 100% on the "hard intervals", you will not be able to do much more (than the ~ 20 minutes). For example, if you can do a HIIT sessions for 60 min, you are certainly not doing the intervals hard enough. After each hard interval, you should honestly feel like your heart is going to pound out of your chest, breathing should be extremely labored, and your legs feel like rubber.
Sprinting IS very effective, and quite easy - you don't necessarily need equipment to do it. (not easy as in workload, easy bec can do it anywhere)
But it is not the only thing you can do. You can do HIIT on anything - Spin bike, StepMill, stairs outside, etc ......

Effectiveness is all a matter of what YOU put into it."

Meal # 1 :
• 2 scoops ISO
• 16 oz Gatorade


When I got home from the gym P.M. -
Meal # 2 :
• 6 oz Diced Grilled Chicken Breast
• ½ Cup Quaker Oatmeal with cinn & Splenda
• 1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Sea Salt for Chicken


7:50 P.M. -
Meal # 3 :
• 6 oz Diced Grilled Chicken Breast
• 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil for Chicken

• Tons of Mixed Veggies (~ 3 cups with sea salt to taste)

***Valerian Root Teas Bag in 6 oz water with packet Splenda .. not too bad ... ahem ALEX lol :D

Need to eat once more time before couch ... can't sleep in bed lately ... I have issues with this sometimes ... My bed is seriously heaven, hmm I may have to mount a TV up in there ... who knows .. more $$$ I don't have to spend :D

That's what happens when you build some yummy muscle & treat yourself once in a while .... honestly, I just blame & thank the chemo for altering my dna ... look what it did to my hair :)

I will be NOTHING special in MI, just my happy old hoppy, too tired from work exhausted *Bunny* ... with my CB in my purse handing out like Candy .... :D

I look forward to meeting everyone & finding SOME energy ... I need to cook veggies .... :rose: :wavey: Catch ya lata !
