Breast Augmentation???

I have my second consultation tomarrow afternoon. I was planning on implants over a year ago, but found out I was pregnant shortly before. It has been over six months since my delivery, and I am getting back into pretty good shape.

I am wondering if there are any women here who have had breast implants, and if so were they sub-glandular? I'm planning on going sub-glandular (above the muscle) because Ive been working very hard on build my chest. I am going very large....800-850cc implants. I know it is a longshot, but if you have had this procedure I would love to know how long you took off before lifting. If you have had behind the muscle (sub pectoral or semi pectoral) it is completely diff. and takes longer...so I've read. Any feedback is appreciated.

What size are you now? Why would you want to go so big? I've seen pictures of women who are a size "A" who go to a "C" and they used a saline implant of 325 cc. The breasts looked beautiful when things healed up. Not to be cruel or mean in any way....but I would think that 800 - 850 cc's would just be circus like.
Why go so big? They wouldn't look normal. Not very attractive...IMO anyway.

As far as your question...if under the muscle or over the muscle would be best....I would think that over the muscle would be good for someone who works out all the time. But I really don't know for sure. I would think that the question should be asked to the physician who would be doing the surgery.
Best of luck to you.

I just had a child. I was a small D, and Now I'm a Small C with alot of droopy skin. An 850 will put me at an E. E's arent' as big as you think. They say that whatever your doctor tells you your cup size is after the sugery, you are going to look a whole cup size smaller in clothing.

Thanks for your input.

I was considering implants with a lift previously...........are you going with that or just the implant?? What type of scar did the PS say you would have?

Good luck & let us know how it goes!

That's like porn-star big.

I nursed for six years running and have post-nursing ptosis...I've got A cups now, and am going to wait another year (I quit nursing two years ago) to see how they end up before I go in for a reconstruction. (They've already improved quite a bit in terms of droopiness, etc.) Even then I don't think I'm going to get implants...I can't imagine trying to work out with big hooters...the guys have enough trouble not staring at my gym.

But Angel Chick is right...you should ask your doctor about recovery time.

implants over the muscle have a higher chance of hardening (capsular contraction), drooping & rippling.... ask you PS about "partials"-- they look much more natural & wont interfere w/your pec muscle training.

Alright guys, I'm sorry for the previous confusion...I meant 425 each. I just got back from my consultation, and decided to go with a 500 filled to 540cc's implant. I do not need a lift, but decided to go under the muscle. This will put me at a little larger than an F. The incision will be underneath. The recovery time is minimal: 2-3 days before I can do cardio and 2-3weeks before I can resume any heavy chest exercises such as a bench is what he told me. I'm very exited.

Are you sure you want to be that large I am a 34DD and sometime I feel huge. I have little back pain but I think that is cause I stay fit however if I was bigger I am sure I would have some serious back pain. Think that size over seriosly. I find it hard enough finding a DD bra and F would be dam near impossible. Regardless of what you do best of luck.
