i know i want to stay away from anything with the bleached flour...

but what exactly should i be looking for with bread...?

is the "enriched" wheat flour any good, or does that mean they added shit my body doesn't want...?

drop some knowledge on me...!

Bread has two form to it part starch, and refine sugar. The problem is the bread is bad for dieting or any bread at all.But if it is off-season then eat 100% stone ground.

If your trying to really cut up stay away from all breads..hard I know but the results will be fantastic

i'm not really trying to cut up... and i can't go without bread...

i could do it for a few weeks if i really wanted to cut, but at this point, i'm trying to add some size without adding adipose tissue...

I'd also like to know...

Enriched whole wheat bread is made with vitamin enriched white flower and only contains about 1/3 or so the fiber that whole grain does. It has some good chit in it that whole grain does'nt though. I was told and have read that whole grain is all around better for you.

Not all bread is made with refined suger, I get sugar free bread from a local bakery.

I get a brand called Burgen Wholemeal and grains has a gi of 43 about the same as a sweet potato.
Should be safe with a bread that its main ingredient is wholemeal wheat flour.

Spelt bread is pretty good too.
haven't tried that ^^

white bread is horrible, as is "enriched" it's simply the white flour with reintroduced "nutrients."

Organic, whole grains is what you should look for.

Not "natural" either (natural = marketing gimick). Organic... read the labels, if it has only one ingredient it's usually good for you :) (depending on the item, obviously).
