Boobs & Cardio

For those of you who are packin on in the boob area, may I ask what kind of sports bra works for you? I have a few of them, all different kinds and not a dang one of them work when it comes to jogging, or jumping around. I'm about ready to use masking tape, so if you can please help a sistah out, it would be most appreciated.

I'm a full C, borderline D and have bought some pretty decent ones from Sears actually. They were reasonably priced and worked well I thought.

Do you do ballistic cardio like Tai Bo or sprinting?

Well I'm a DD. Jogging I'm ok with. When it comes to kick boxing, and boot camp type exercises such as jumping jacks, or jumping rope, or anything jumping I can't hang. Do you remember the name brand of the one's you have?

No ma'am sorry, I dont.

I'm afraid though that DD and larger just arent well served by any sport bra I've ever seen. My best friend is also a DD like yourself and she's never found anything that really provides a lot of support during the types of ballistic movements you mentioned. When Jen and I used to do Tai bo together she started actually wrapping herself in an Ace bandage on top of her sport bra. It was a really long and wide one made for lower backs. She'd go around her ribcage a few times partially overlapping the underside of her boobs, then start criss-crossing from each boob diagonally across her ribcage and over the opposite shoulder. Looked goofy, but her boobs sho nuff didnt move! :lmao:

I have the same problem... Most of the time I will wear two.. That is the only way to keep the suckers from moving around. What I would suggest is get one that is sorta built like a normal bra. Has the seperation etc. Then put like a champon one over that will compress them. The first one will lift and seperate them and the second one will keep them from jiggling around so much. Boobs can be fun but also a pain in the ass.

Ha. Thanks Ladies. I"m going to try both suggestions, and whichever one feels better is what I'll go with.

I also went w/ a double, though I only have 1 D in mine. (lol, a little, well, big boob humor...) Yea, I've worn 2 sports bras before. Or even a regular sports bra and one of those built-in bra tops.

I was going to suggest 2 bras. Like some of the girls have said already.
I wear one reg. bra with the under wire. And then a tight sports bra.

But still can't do jumping jacks with out holding myself.

I wear two- one ugly kind of 18hour grandma kind, and then a sport bra over it.
(i'm a 38DD)

I use the Champion bras.... they work pretty well...

Do a search for Title 9 sports -- they sell sports clothing for women & I have heard extremely good things about their Frog Bra. It's not pretty but they guarantee you WILL NOT MOVE when wearing it......

Thanks Jens! I'm doing a search right now.

OK. I am envious of all you big boobed women. When I dropped a bunch of fat, mine were the first thing to go. Went from a 36c to almost an A now. :worried:

That's it. I'm gettin' a boob job.

When i was much heavier, i was a DD and lost 100lbs and went down to a full b/small c.
I HATED them. not cause of the size, but they looked terrible after having gone from so big to average size, plus, i just have a larger frame- broad shoulders, thick legs.
when i spoke to a plastic surgeon, i said i wanted to be a small DD again and he looked at me and said ok, but made me a full DD. at first i was mad but he said 90% of patients wish they went a little bigger and now i'm glad.

This is the exact thing that sent me to the doctor... I went from a 34 full C to like an AA it was horrible.... I was 19 at the time time and my boobs looked like they belonged on a 50 year old... It was NASTY... Thanks Doc. I LOVE then now..

I am losing the weight first in my boob area, but not enough to stop me from getting slapped in the face. I did try the double bra thing and it helped a lot. I'm going to put it to work on the treadmill tomorrow.

And I breast fed my baby boy for his first year. Let me tell you - this does nothing good for the boobs. Smallish I can probably handle - it's the smallish and totally wrecked that I hate.

My boyfriend teases me and says he'll buy one of them. Every time he says it, I picture myself with one fake boob and one wrecked boob, saving money to buy the other. :D

Champion is my favorite Sports bra ;)

LOL!
when i was being prepped for surgery the doctor walked in with a BIG box. I asked what was in the box and he said "you're new breasts." :worried:
I said "the box is huge!"
he said "so are they!"
then he laughed and said he was joking- his clothes and notes and other stuff was in there too.
i had to wear a sports bra for weeks afterwards. sometimes i still wear one to sleep- its more comfortable.

I used to be a DD now a D anyways my trick is to wear 2 sports bars at once say L then an XL on top or where a sports bra and a top that also has a built in bra as well.

awww, thanks everyone. you're avatar is pretty hot yo'self woman!

I have very small ones and I still had a problem getting a sports bra. I have just been on a crusade to find a sports bra in an A cup and ended up finding one in discount chain store. I checked out all the usual brands and they all start in at least B or C cup.don't manufacturers know most athletes are usually low on body fat and boobs!
