Bobcat hunting, or wild boar hunting?

My uncle went on a wild boar retreat. The video is quite charming, dogs attacking the boar while he stabs it in the neck. Woo, now that is my kind of fun, forget roller coasters and exotic vacations.
I hate that kind of bullshit "hunting" retreat. Some of those outfits simply take your money and provide a situation where you can kill an animal - no hunting involved.

I understand that boar hunting is very exciting.... The bobcat will basically run and hide, may be harder to locate, etc... The boar will or has been known to charge, making that hunt slightly more dangerous/exciting. The boar is easier to track, makes a lot of noise, but you have to get a good shot make sure to down it, or it will charge...

I saw Larry Csonka of the Dolphins on a hunting show once have to run like hell from one...very funny.

I'd do the boar, but just MHO...

I can do one or the other... what would you guys rather do? If I go for the bobcat, how much will it cost to send the head to a taxidermist to mount it on a plaque?
If it was me, I'd go for the pig. The meat is great BBQ! And a good head can make quite an impressive trophy. They can be a fairly dangerous little game animal which adds a little fun.

I don't much like hunting for trophy only, so I have little urge to hunt bobcat.

I culdn't post prices, but I'd assume that having the cat's head mounted would be much less than the pig.

I really don't agree with hunting an animal that won't be eaten. It's a waste of life and gives hunters a bad name.

Go for the wild boar....tasty

I feel varmint hunting has it's place, but I think we agree on this concept - killing an animal just to kill it is wrong.
