Big Johnson's mass-gaining protein shake

Believe it or not, I've been getting a lot of requests for the recipe lately. I just thought I'd post it as its own thread so it will be easier to search for. Here it is :)

In a blender combine:

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup vanilla yogurt
2 cups whole milk
1 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup or 1/2 cup brown sugar

Blend on low until creamy.

The specs are something like this:

1800 calories
90 grams protein
110 grams of fat
100 grams of carb

Don't drink if on a diet :)

Its actually a modification of a recipe I first read from a power lifter. Mine has more calories than his, though. And, the yogurt adds probiotic bacteria that aid in digestion. This shake is not for the lactose intolerant, but the bacteria help :)

I tried your recipe a few months ago. It tasted horrible!

where's the real butter - I usually use 2 sticks - 4 is just too much in my opinion.

and May - your "brother" must be famous, I've seen that pic several places on the net before.

May, you are the only one who has complained about my shake. Maybe you just don't like peanut butter?

Happy, the butter idea is good, but I'm way ahead of you on this one. Try it with a slab of pig's fat, aka lard, and see how it goes down. Less sodium, too :p

Oh, and Happy, check your email.

I might have to try that when I start bulking up again...looks nice...I'll be over 275 in no time drinking those...LOL

I put on 45lbs on a test/decca/dbol cycle while drinking these shakes. That was a damn good cycle. My lifts all went up 10-25%.

I should mention about 30lbs of that 45lbs was fat, though :p
