Beware The Ides of March!!! - A Cutting Journal

Today's Workout:

AM - 9 Half sprints

I'm starting to love cardio. Especially at like 4 am when the sun isn't up and I'm the only one on the roads, its awesome.

Also, I've seen a lot of people asking about cheap diets. Well, since mine is very simple and VERY cheap I'm gonna lay it out for everyone.

Chicken: I buy bags of 2.5 lbs frozen for 6 bucks (on sale). 10 servings per bag = $.60 a serving x 5 servings a day = 3 bucks in chicken

ANPB: I buy jars of Skippy Natural for 2 bucks each. 19 servings per jar = $.11 a serving x 3 servings a day = 33 cents in ANPB

Oats: I buy the biggest size of Quaker Oats at the market for 3.45 each. 30 servings per container = $.115 a serving x 4 servings a day = 46 cents in Oats

Protein Powder: I buy mine at Costco. 20 bucks for 6 lbs and it's good stuff too. 96 servings per container = $.21 a serving x 3 servings a day = 63 cents in protein

That's $4.42 a day x 30 days = $132.60 A MONTH

pretty cheap huh? I see people paying $4.50 for a large latte that's terrible for you, and that's what I pay for a whole day of good food.

Today's Workout:

AM - 9 Half sprints

PM -
Benchpress 5x115, 5x130, 5x145, 5x165, 5x185
Military Press 8x65, 8x75, 8x95, 8x105
Dips 8xBW, 8x10, 8x15
Pullovers 8x50, 8x55, 8x60

Good workout today. Had a little trouble on the last set of benchs and military presses so I'm gonna stay at those weights for next week. The sprints were fun as well.

Ok, had to go out of town for a family emergency, so life's been a bit of a mess. Whats a cutting journal without some real life problems thrown in there. so i ate pretty bad, didn't lift, and only ran one morning out of the last 3....

I'm gonna weight in tomorrow and get back to lifting. Hope i haven't undone the last 2 weeks of hard work... :(

Today's weight: 188.7 (DAMNIT!!!)

Today's Workout
AM - 9 Half sprints

PM -
Incline Benchpress: 5x110, 5x120, 5x130, 5x145, 5x160
Hanging Powerclean: 8x60, 8x70, 8x95, 8x115
Pullups: BWx8, BWx8, BWx6
Curls: 8x25's, 8x30's, 8x35's

Well, my fears were correct. The odd thing is I haven't noticed that much change in physique or clothes fitting different. I'm just going to look forward and get right back to the right path. Today's diet was on. Tomorrow is also the first day of the T3 cycle, and last day of the current clen cycle.

Come on man, you know there are other expences in there besides those... what about ur veggies??? Either way though, that is pretty impressive. What kind of protein is that? Maybe I could find it somewhere just as cheap online considering I don't have a costco. Shipping might screw up the deal though. Also, what kind of chicken is that that u buy in a bag, like what is it called (not so much the brand). I see some with rib meat and others w/o, just don't know the differences between bagged chicken, that is why i normally buy "normal" skinless chicken breast from the butcher.

No, that really is it, haven't eaten any veggies for a bit cause of cost, but i'm gonna get my broccoli back now that winter's over and im not paying as much to the gas company.

The protein powder is called sportpharma. good stuff. 110 cals, 1.5g fat, 1g carbs (its sugar), and 22g protein.

I buy pre-seasoned chicken breasts by Giant Eagle (the local supermarket). They're really tastey, but the key is getting them on sale. Its only 6 bucks for 2.5 lbs on sale, but 10 bucks normally. BIG difference.

If you just buy skinless chicken breasts from a butcher, there might still be a bone in there. Then you're paying for the weight of the bone as well, and having to eat around it. no good. gotta get skinless boneless breasts.

Today's Workout

PM -
Squats 5x115, 5x145, 5x165, 5x185, 5x215
Snatch Grip Deadlifts 8x135, 8x165, 8x205, 8x250
Weighted Leg Lifts 4x12x15
45 degree Twists 4x12x40

I decided to vary up the ab work, so now I have 1 day with weighted crunches and side bends, and another with leg lifts and twists, done at about 45 degrees on a decline bench.

Also, I've finally caved in and decided that i need my broccoli back. As much as i want to keep all my carbs in the morning, i just need something to fill me up in the evening. So below is my revised diet plan.

6 - Wake up
615 - Cardio (on days I do cardio)
7 - 3/4 cup Oats and 1 Shake
10 - 3/4 cup Oats
12 - 2 Tbsp. ANPB
1 - Shake with 2 tbsp Udo's Choice
Lift (on days I lift)
PWO shake (on days I lift)
4 - 2 Tbsp. ANPB
530 - 8 oz. chicken and 12 oz. broccoli
7 - 8 oz. chicken and 12 oz. broccoli
9 - Bed

Totals: 2180 Cals (not counting PWO shake), Fat - 85g (34%), Carbs - 124g (32%), Protein - 185g (34%)

And the money breakdown for those interested:

Oats - $4.64 per container, 30 servings per container, $.15 per serving x 3 servings a day = $.45 a day

ANPB - 2 dollars per jar, 14 servings per jar, $.14 per serving x 2 servings a day = $.28 a day

Protein Powder - 20 dollars per tub, 97 servings per tub, $.20 per serving x 2 servings a day = $.40 a day

Chicken - 6 dollars a bag, 10 servings per bag, $.60 per serving x 5 servings a day = $3 a day

Broccoli - 1.39 per bag x 2 bags a day = $2.78 a day

Udo's Choice - $23.51 a jar, 32 servings per jar, $.73 per serving x 2 servings a day = $1.46 a day

$8.37 a day x 30 days a month = $251.10 a month

Still pretty damn cheap, and will fill me up a lot more thanks to the broccoli.

Today's workout

AM- 10 Half sprints

Diet was on today. The broccoli has made life a lot easier, as I'm not still hungry at times like now. I forgot to mention yesterday that I took my first dose of T3. 12.5 mcg yesterday, and 12.5 mcg today. Yesterday was also the last day of clen. sorry to see it go, but looking forward to having it back in 2 weeks.
