Best quick pre-work out meal?

I eat 6 timeas a day but have trouble deciding on what to eat just before I hit the gym....what is your best pre-work out meal? By the time I hit the gym it is 7 pm and I have eaten 4 or 5 times by now. Between 7 and 10 pm I am squeezing in my pre-work out meal, post work out meal and then dinner. I am at the gym for over an hour so thats three melas in about two hours. I eat at 7 am, 10am, 1 pm, 3 pm, pre-work meal at 6pm, post meal at 8pm then dinner about 9pm. I need ideas for something quick that I can have prepared and take with me to work and have ready to eat around 6 pm. All my others meals are no problem....
 
Hey bro, I would say just have a protein drink. I buy multipower shakes, you get 50grams of protein and about 69grams of carbs. Perfect for drinking just before you hit the gym. I use to eat a pre-workout meal, but noticed I felt tired and didnt train as intense as i wanted. So i hit a protien shake in replace of the workout meal. Works a treat for me I get awesome pumps and much more energy.

I do like ade uk,
Sometimes Ill have a meal replacement before the gym and an Isopure after. But I think its best if you eat an actual meal. Ill eat a full meal before the gym, prtein after and eat again about 45 mins after workout and protein.

6 meals isnt that much to me considering I eat about 10 meals a day, but if you can, try to eat a meal whenever possible, even before training.
 
What would a pre-workout meal mainly consist of?
I agree that pre-workout protein shakes is a good idea, but are there any alternatives instead of the protein shake?
Maybe milk?
 
Pre cook some spaghetti and save it in tupperware for pre workout meals....i eat a good portion of that and a protein shake about 1hr 30min prior and i feel great. Maybe some coffee like right before i leave.
 
A McDonalds fruit parfait and some caffein(With some sugar)

I normally do the protein later after the workout.
