finish off with a single 20 rep set. Keep increasing the weight the next time. When you're squatting 405 for 20 reps, you won't be complaining about the size of your quads.

If you want a big squat you have to train heavy. Mostly because at 85% or more your form can break down and the closer that you get to 100% the more important perfect technique will be.

I box squatted 702 x 10 on Thursday and it was freaking hard (I saw The Pale Horse) but I also noticed that my form wasn't what it needed to be for me to hit a new 1RM PR soon.

spammed advertisements is the name of the infraction that gives a 24 hour timeout. It can be used for any violation of rules that a mod determines is worthy of a 24 hour timeout. Usually a further explanation is given in the PM that accompanies the timeout.

you got a 24 hour timeout for trolling in the fitness forums. not sure if you accidentally were on the wrong forum or what.. but whatever it was i figured timing you out would stop you from hanging yourself more. be careful as i told you in the PM and make sure you are posting in the forum you mean to. :)

Holy crud 702x10?!
That'll make you big. A lot of guys train lighter weight and higher reps. Just need to challenge the muscles to make them adapt. Man though 700x10... I can't imagine some one sub 180 lifting that....
 
I've been sick off and on this year, but doing better. I'm almost always between 275 and 290 depending on the heat here.
