I've gotten some great advice and have found some good posts on this board about diet to build muscle and lower my BF.
Do I understand correctly – I want to make sure I have a good protein source and low gi carb before I lift weights in the morning? And then after I lift weights I want to eat a higher gi carb and more protein? And before bedtime, I am to make sure I get about 30 grams of protein too (no carbs)? And on non-training days I should lower my carb intake? I think spatts posted about carb cycling. So if it's a rest day then I need to eat less carbs - always keep protein and fat constant?
What do you eat before and after a cardio workout? I can't do both weights and cardio in the morning so I have been doing cardio around 5 p.m.
I know diet is very important to seeing results so I want to make sure I understand correctly. Thanks!
