Another Fun Sunday, 4-21-02

With the 245 stone...this sucker is THICK!!!.

The 335 stone...ouch...

It is VERY wide too...lots of fun. I think that 380 stone is going down next week.

After a few sets of shouldering the keg...I decided to press it. This pic was taken JUST before the water began to splash around and I nearly dropped it...lol

Our crew. We are a rough bunch...but very tight.

Enjoy

It was rock bottom...can't go any lower. Probably 5-6" below parallel for me...it is a high bar olympic squat.

so parrallel is when the bottom of your thigh reaches parallel???? Hmm I guess I have doing them wrong for years I always thought it was the top of the thigh that needs to be parallel to the ground... I'm doing high bars for quad size right now, I think I'm gonna add stifflegged for my hamstring and glutes.

I love reading these threads. The pictures are a great help too. It sure looks nice where you live. Keep up the good work.

Parallel is when your hip joint is parallel with your knee. There are tons of different definitions of parallel as far as powerlifting goes...but that is what I have always considered parallel. When the hip socket is at or below your knee..and the femur is parallel to the floor...you are at a regular squat. I am not going hard on these at all...they were super easy..I even paused each at the bottom for a second or two...

For your hams and glutes...goodmornings can't be beat.

Thanks....it is pretty here right now. I had to lighten the camera settings a lot today. It was extremely windy and cloudy. When I lightened up the settings on the camera...it made all of us look really pale and sun washed the pics sometimes.

My buddy in the back is doing an intern up in Dearborn this summer. PM me if you are near there..
