Otherwise how about Melatonin??
Melatonin is useless unless your body is deficient of melatonin. I know when your cortisol is increased you will a lot of times have insomnia. If you are seeing a naturopath I would suggest accupuncture. It helps tremendously. I had insomnia since I was 13. So for 13 years and have been on so many sleep aids and tranquilizers for it. Did the whole sleep clinic, melatonin, vhp, nothing would work. I think a combination of accupuncture and finding out what food allergies I had then eliminating the food allergies realy helped a lot. BUt if it is cortisol/adrenals that is another thing. Accupuncture does help for this a lot and if you have your adrenals treated you will notice a crazy amnt of energy from it like an hour later. I love that feeling!
