Ab w/o classes???

I was just wondering how affective doing those 30 minute ab classes were. I know that getting rid of the fat on your abs comes with a good diet and cardio etc. I went to one of these classes last night and this morning my abs are burning!! (a good burn, though) Doing these classes once or twice a week in addition to cardio and a clean diet can only help with seeing my abs, right?? Or no???

Thanks,

I take a 30 min ab class and because of the time it takes to explain what we are doing next and get everyone in the correct position its really only about 20 min so thats not to bad

I teach and ab/functional training class in addition to my personal training. We run about 60 minutes non-stop. Most of it is on Swiss Balls, some med ball drills and I'll probably add some band work once I figure out the logistics.

The only direct Ab work we do is side-to-side work and crunches. The rest is whole body, core work. So it really isn't ab per se, but whole body/trunk. None-the-less, the first time through you won't be able to sit up from a recliner if the lever arm on the chair fails to push you back up.
