A Thread for the Lazy(except for weights) People That Refuse to Do Cardio

I am one. I hate cardio therefore do not do it. I lift weights and I lift them heavy and I don't rest much between sets so I think it almost counts as cardio.

The other reason I don't do cardio is because I think cardio sux compared to weight training. Example: I will see fat chicks do weight for 2 or 3 months and you can see a big difference. And then I see fat chicks doing aerobics for a year and they are still fat. What a waste of time.

I like weight training because you are burning fat even when you are not working out but cardio only burns while you do it.

Cardio sux. Ok I might have a heart attack one day but it is better than having a heart attack three times a week on that rat mill doing mindless running called cardio.

you are my hero! you expressed exactly what I've been thinking for the last 10 years.

My name is BigWebNerd, and I hate cardio!

I feel better already.

I am one of those lazy people as well. I think cardio is boring, time consuming, etc. I recently began Muay Thai kickboxing. I was so surpised at the cardio workout I am getting while learning something that I enjoy. It gives the benfits of cardio wihtout monotonous treadmills and stairmasters. I didn't realize how out of shape I was until I stepped in the ring for the first time.

I'm w/ Moose. It doesn't have to suck. If you pick something that you like and make it into cardo it aint so bad. I like the heavy bag myself.

sorry, but you are incorrect-cardio keeps the metabolism accelerated all day long and if you bulk and then cut, you have to do cardio if you expect to drop fat-of course weight lifting is a must as well

diamond is right, cardio keeps up the metabolism as long as you keep gluecose levels constant.(eating right after workouts) i'm with you guys though. I HATE CARDIO. my partner and i are contemplating on getting into an aerobics class(with lots of hot chicks) just to keep us motivated doing cardio. hey whatever it takes, right?

I have News for some of you people: intense Aerobic exercise does not reduce bodyfat. It just burns more calories from consumed food during the day. Bottom line, it makes you feel like shit, makes you hungrier, and makes you burn muscle.

Light cardio does have it's place. I do cardio when I diet, and when I'm using high intensity training. If I don't, I get very fat.

C A R D I O Whats that?
For me its long intense sessions in the sack with a woman :)
