I never will get it with her. My friends wife is a consoler and she said that since my ex never had her father around she constantly needs to hear how beautiful she is and get attention from men. Judging from the way you have treated your ex since you split I find it very difficult to believe that you were the devil incarnate when you were married to her.

If she needed to hear more praise from you, how hard would it have been for her to just come out and say, "Baby, I dont feel like I turn you on. I know it seems superficial but could you 'gush' a tiny bit more?"

Good Lord, the bullshit excuses that people come up with to justify cheating.

I am human and could and can and have forgiven cheating. We are all grown and we all commit errors in judgment. But I don't cheat. Actually I glean power from the fact that NO MAN can touch me once I have committed.

I bet you dollars to donuts when you find a nice woman your ex will do whatever she can to get back into your good graces. Makes me want to puke - to fuck up a family because "she didn't hear that she was pretty often enough?" How hard would it have been for her to simply ask you to tell and show her a bit more often.
