I plan on starting the 5X5 today and need a few things cleared up. I'll probably be using about 235lbs for my barbell bench press for 5 reps. This weight is approximately 82% of my 1RM. So, what percentages would I use for the warm-up sets? Would 2 warm-ups be sufficient? Also, do I warm-up and then go straight to 235 for the next 5 sets or do I work up to that weight? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanx.
