Bench numbers still going up! nice, I noticed you have got a lot of fat in your pwo shake with the milk,pb, and olive oil. I've always thought it was best to leave that out because it slows rate the protein is absorbed by your muscles? And then you eat a solid meal about an hour lately with some good fats?

Well an hour is too soon as I am still full feeling from my shake. But at roughly 2 hours yes I do. My diet right now is high protein, high fat and low carb.
 
^^^agreed...it sucks so bad trying to eat right after a workout if you take a high content shake...my all time fav. shake while on cycle is Real Mass by gaspari! Its loaded down with all the goodies I need to rebuild...

Yeah it seemed nice an light at the start but then around the5th or 6th set suddenly got not so light.....quads, ass and hams sore the next day too.:)

Run a mile, upped my speed on the treadmil from 3.5 to 4.0.
Walk a lap, run a lap for another mile. Same here, run at 4.0.

I know my workouts recently have been less then par. I just found out today that my next blast will be right after the holidays. This blast will include the biggest cycle that I have ever done also I am guessing right now that it will be very low volume but extremely high intensity, but am not positive on that yet.
So for now I am thinking my workouts will be just on the major compound lifts. And I am thinking 3x10-12 reps to get my joints and soft tissues in shape for what is to come.
So thats where Im at for now.

Man I had no choice. I was getting out of breath just walking around. It is working and am improving dramatically. Weight is staying the same but huge diff in the way I look and thats a dam good thang!
I am planning on increasing even more cuz for my next cycle I really need to be in outstanding cardio health. It is a huge cycle, as in scary huge!
 
I know Im gonna love it, will be my first time using GH.

The program is gonna be a tad more volume then I had anticipated and thats just fine with me. The thing is Im a fat ass and I really need to get to work and get down to 12-14% bf and quick. I have till Jan to do it. So gonna be seeing more cardio and will start posting diet too.
Most of what you see here will be on the other log as Im gonna mostly copy and paste from here. That will start tomorrow.

Also for you guys checking that link out I copied in the Cycle! I can already feel your envy LOL!!

Late lunch, (3:00 pm)
2 whole eggs, 5 egg white omlete.
26 oz 96% fat free sausage
3 tablespoons chopped onion
3 tablespoons chopped green pepper

Cardio to be at 4:00 will edit in.

Only feeling a little puky this soon after eating. Sure glad I didnt puke while running cuz that would really suck having to breath in that stench...

Dinner was homemade sirloin burger, 16oz no bun.
2 cups brocolli with olive oil and lime juice.
20 oz 2% milk.

Low carb I see, I hate low carb diets :worried: but they work .....I always end up goin through sugar-free red bull like crazy to help satisfy cravings and help with energy, add some e/c/a in there and that's when the fun starts lol....what a shity feeling that was

Dumbbell Push Press - 50 reps 35lbs
Pullups - 25 reps

I would do this to 100 reps, no stops between the diff exercises. Prolly have to break it down into sets-as in circuits and keep repeating them to the full count of 100 reps in everything, over time building to 300 reps of all of it.

I actually did this a couple days a week last summer when I was cutting and it melts fat off you gay or not lol. I got to the point were I would get it done it about 18-19 minutes. It wasn't easy by any means bro. So you're gonna do 100 reps of everything? That's pretty intense, I was wiped by the time I was done at 50 reps each for a total of 300, this is great for your stamina, your girl will thank you:three:.....but you might wanna consider getting an oxygen tank for being over 50 and attempting this workout:dance2:

Zed geigh or not that workout is tuff. I felt like a complete fag about a year ago when I did Insanity but let me tell you I dropped some fat. Those type of workout are the reason I will never again bulk past about 13% Lol.

Cardio but different!

Ok today I am beginning my relationship with Met Con type cardio training.
This is supposed to be Max effort short duration cardio, not more then 10 min.

Met Con A as follows.
15 pull ups
12 65 Lb DBL swings
9 Burpees
That is the model and this is what I did.

5 min bike @130 bpm
5 min mile run
10 pull ups
10 50Lb DBL swings each arm
10 Burpees

My stopwatch was at 4 min and some change...so I rest enough to catch my breath and do this,
8 pull ups
10 swings same as above
9 Burpees
and now I am in the middle of a heart attack and I look like a zombie...kinda greenish..
I am force ventilating to try and get my breath back and I succeed without calling the dam ambulance.
Now as Im writing this out for you I am sitting here in a 3 inch deep puddle of sweat and I am informed by my wife that I look like grey clay....oh and she opening the window cuz I am making the room hot and making her sweat. She dosnt like to sweat...
Now I wanna nap but I have succeded in not puking at this point.
Im done.

Ok, 45 min later after my shower I am now breathing normally more or less, lots of sighs....
Still sweating pretty good tho.
Now I think I read somewhere that as long as I dont eat my caloric burn remains very high, so is this true?
Not planning to eat till around 7:30.
Also sometime between now and bed will do my primo injection.

So the agenda for the rest of the day is a trip to the dentist to get a permanent crown put in, get the temp unit out.

Then out to a nice fish dinner (baked fish) and then ice cream for desert later on. Nice day!

Been thinking a lot about my stalling out on my bench press. One of my goals for the year was to hit 300 for reps on bench. I have been lightening up on my dips and I think this stalling is a direct result of that. So gonna go back to crazy ass dips! Also wouldnt hurt to start gettin a little more serious on my squat weight too for that matter. So gonna lower the reps there and really try to keep my knees happy so I can add to the weight.

So I know I said I was gonna go more toward 10-12 reps, but I really wanna hit that goal on my bench. This will preclude that rep scheme. Prolly will also ditch the flys for now as they were for shaping anyway not strength. Its not that my chest shape is so gr8 cuz it isnt. But the strength is more important right now.

Workout, A little bit dissapointing for me today.
WU 5 min bike, 3x10 bod squats.
Squats
3x5@135, 1x3@185, 5x3@225. Knees pretty angry with me after that. Will do adequan injection into each knee beneath patella when I shower.
OHP
5x3@125
Dips
2x10@bod, 3x3@45
and then I just stalled out. Wanted to get a few sets in @90 but just didnt have it. SUCKS!

20 IUs Adequan each knee.

U love those low reps dont ya? Not so sure they are as effective as 10-12 rep scheme for cutting but at least you'll be able to maintain/monitor your strength a little better since you're on that low carb diet.....good luck bro
 
Yeah bro it just really works so dam well for me and I stay injury free. So if it aint broke then dont fix it...LOL

Very true, that 5x5 is really starting to take a toll on my joints. But its def working cause I saw someone I havnt seen in about a month and she was like wow! Holy mass lol.
 
Good for you bro! LOL with my its my wife bitchin that my shirts dont fit any more. But thats a good kind of bitchin too!
