OK...I've look it up 3 times and got three different answers........does anyone know the macro profile (carbs) of 1 cup of COOKED brown rice versus a 6oz yam or sweet potatoe?
Who cares bro? They both taste like ASS! Lol, j/k.
Not sure how often you've eaten yams, but I'll take brown rice any day of the week over yams. Yams get on my nerves. As for the macro nutrient profile, I'd think brown rice is superior in most aspects.

thanks for your keen insight, but I'm looking for the exact profile........you are obviously preparing your yams wrong bro..........they are damn good.........
150gms is 5.35... oz. But one ounce = 28g. , some say 30 but its really like 28... sumthing. Hope that helps. Must be nice to find 6 0z Sweet Potatoes. All the ones at my store are like 12 oz each, like 3/4 lb.

I don't know if you checked fitday.com or not, but you prob. did...
Anyway, per fiday.com:
1 cup cooked brown rice (fat not added in cooking) = 44g carb
6 oz sweet potato (peel not eaten/fat not added in cooking) = 26g carb
The sw. pot. is confusing as fitday lets you select baked, but when you choose oz. it says "raw."
