why do I wake up in the middle of the night craving carbohydrates?

obviously you are suffering from low blood sugar. you are on a major catabolic diet.

2 things wrong with doing this.

1. if you are trying to lose weight fast this will work in the short term, but in the long term it will NOT work. once you start adding back carbs your body will store them quickly

2. if you are skinny and trying to gain mass it will be difficult to put on mass because your muscles need nutrition

please add some fruit to it, that will cure your issues. and the occasional brown rice or grain pasta meal can't hurt either
 
update
I went to the gym today....and with all the waking up eating carbs every night...I still lost 5 pounds :)
and my strength didnt go down so am sure it was all water weight and a little fat(since I was breaking down eating like a pig before I started this)...so its all good
am gonna keep at it and only eat brown bread rice or sweat potatoes after work outs
and I will also add calories on workout days than decrease on off days
I also picked up some juice for next blast :)
I also now have a connect for 30iu pen gh for very cheap that my buddy picks up from the hospital :p
so hopefully with in 6 months to a year I will start at 8iu a day
am a happy mother father
 
simple carbs are good for u post workout. just sayin but you didn't really post your goals.

Why are you eating so few calories and why lack of carbohydrates? 1850 calories is quite few for your weight...like the above stated your body is starving. Why don't you give yourself a day to eat what you want and then go back to whatever you are currently doing...getting ready for a competition or something???

my coworker keeps telling me that u wont see ur abs until u get on gh...but am gonna prove him wrong...I was able to see my abs a little bit before I started the test e

my goals is just to look good thats all
I wanna try to cut down as much fat as possible
hopefully to 4% with this diet
and from now on am never gonna use compounds that cause water gains
test e or c will only be once a week and maybe some dball for the beginning of blast but with a strict diet...increase calories workout days and decrease off days
I been trying so hard to loos weight when I was 201 and it never happened until I started doing this and lost 5 pounds (while taking a week off)...but this time am gonna add breads and rice on 1 meal after workouts since I been doing it in the middle of the night anyway
 
None of us do, so I guess you'll have to get used to cravings in the middle of the night. Seriously, dude. Don't you think that's telling you something. It's a wake-up call (literally). You need more variety, When's your last meal? How many cals. do you get? Sounds like you're under stress too. Get some carbs, real carbs. They'll relax you, allowing you to sleep better. Are you a low carber? What are your goals that you're eating like this? Eating every 3-4 hours and you can't understand why this is...Start doing some reading on circadian rhythm, our sleep/wake cycle. Start doing some reading on biological clocks--our organs have inner clocks (they are active and inactive too. Not just when you sleep either). You need to get to know how a metabolism works. Educate yourself a bit and then start adding to your diet. I would think this wake-up call means to add some oats, yams, rice, etc. Good luck.

my wake up call is the 0.1 or what ever sugars in the canned beans I was eating so that 0.1 sugar I was eating was probably making me want more so now am buying them raw in bags
 
Spoonful of peanut butter with last meal, imo.
