Whey protein allergic rash?

I had never tried whey protein before or any protein powder and I'm new to supplements and I'm on EF researching TRT.

Am I just experiencing a dark side from whey protein, I got a skin rash on my chest and all over my arms, am I allergic to it? or it is messing with my liver? what other type of protein can I take so I don't get the same problem. I only had one serving and this happened, instantly I'm afraid to use more. I'm not posting the brand because I don't know if it is against the rules, it is a brand I found in a local store.

Dairy protein allergies are extremely uncommon. What you are most likely allergic to is lactose. Lactose is the milk sugar naturally found in dairy products.

The majority of protein supplements on the market use a whey protein concentrate. The problem with a whey protein concentrate is that it will contain a few grams of lactose and fat per serving. The amount of lactose in each shake is enough to cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to lactose. A lot of adult humans are sensitive to lactose. Myself included. If I use a whey protein concentrate I get a terrible stomach ache and diarrhea.

What you want to be using is a pure whey isolate. A pure whey isolate is essentially pure protein and will contain no lactose or fat per serving. The reason most supplement companies don't use a whey protein isolate in their product is because it is much more expensive then a concentrate.

Read the ingredients list carefully on the protein supplement you are using. You want to be using a 100% whey protein isolate. There are a lot of good products on the market but the one I am currently using is isolation from n2bm.com. It is a pure whey isolate that is naturally flavoured and sweetened with the natural calorie free sweetener stevia.

Seems like there are some additives in your protein product that are causing these issues. Also, it is quite probable that your protein is mostly composed of whey concentrate, which has quite a lot of lactose in it, and many guys will have bad reactions to it.

Therefore, you need to choose a protein product that will have only whey isolate, which is the purest form of whey protein, and it has no lactose at all. Also, try to choose a protein product that will have no artificial sweetners in it, or other unnecessary additives.

Personally, Isolation by N2BM is the product that fulfills all of those criteria for me, and I am loving it. Besides, it is quite cheap, and the coffee flavor is freaken awesome.

I have never heard of that exact reaction to using a protein powder but the product makes no difference to me......if you take anything and it causes a reaction or makes you feel like shit then stop taking it. Live by that rule...your body is telling you something,
