When buying a new bench...

Is there anything in particular I should look for? Mine's pretty old and beat up as of now, I figure I'll get one. Preferably with a preacher curl attachment.

buy a powerrack from http://www.newyorkbarbells.com

then buy a regular flat bench to stick in it

powerracks from nybb are pretty cheap and are great for the price.

Buy a power rack and an adjustable bench. Also, purchase an olympic set. . . 300lbs should get you going.

Before you buy it try it out first! I bought a bench that had incline, flat and decline, plus the preacher, but didn't try out the decline at the store.

I used to have a home gym in the basement where I used to live. I had a power rack and an adjustable bench and everything else, but I moved in 1997. Now, I train at Golds Gym so I haven't suffered. In the future when I buy a place with a basement, I can guarantee that I will build a nice gym filled with plenty of iron. I still have access to all of my equipment, but there is absolutely no where to set it up.
