as far workout goes....

I have been training since '95 and I have taken a long break as I totally burnt out.

It has been almost 3 months since my last workout and I gained some lb that I can see on my waist..

Still have no willingness to go back and fight the iron or the treadmill..

I just got back into it earlier this month but before that about 6 months,it turned into a chore so I stopped lifting

6 months???

I bet you gained quite a few lb during your hiatus.

How did it fell going back after 6 months? Did you take it easy?

I started working out at 13.

I took a 7 year layoff from 17-24.:D

Been going ever since and I'm 35 now. I did take a 6 week layoff when I broke my ribs though.

I once took off a summer after about 3 years working out. Nowadays, the longest I go without working out is about a week, and that is only before a comp.

last year I actually didn't lift for 5 months....only god knows why....I was somewhere in a depression and dealing with that....

I came back with a vengence though....

the thing that sucks the most is coming back those first few times and realizing how weak you are and how much you lost.

I am stronger now than I have ever been.

The last 4 years or so, before I got re-dedicated about 6-9 months ago, moved across the country (away from my bros I used to lift with), went to grad school and got married.... I still went to the gym, but my effort was really non-existent for all intents and purposes...
