What kind of green tea do you drink?

Is there any brand of Green Tea that you would say is the best to drink. A co-worker brought in some Lipton Green Tea (Orange-Jasmine-Passion Fruit flavored). I have been drinking this about two times a day. Is this a good brand to drink, or should I be drinking some other kind??

Thanks :D

I buy my tea in a Chinese supermarket. It costs about a dollar for 50 tea bags. Surprise! It's great stuff! I've tried the Japanese green tea, Indian green tea, Just about all the "primo" stuff and guess what? The $1.00 a box stuff I found is the best. I don't know what the name is cause the only english on the box says "green tea". The rest is in Cantonese.

I found it when I noticed a bunch of chinese folks in this restaurant kept drinking it over all the other teas. I asked them why they always drank that brand and they all said it tasted the best.

I wouldn't worry so much about the brand. If it's green tea it's better for you than Pepsi that's fer sure.

I've tried Lipton though I mainly use chinese GT that I get from the 'international foodmart.' Lately, the GT has been staining my teeth and until I go to the dentist, I've strictly been using GT caps :)

I'm glad you guys are talking about Green Tea. I have started to use green tea since 2 months ago ever since I read and article about green tea properties. I have been doing a real tough diet where sugar is not allowed (Of course) but my point is that I normally need to have a fruit or something sweet before workout. I am very very... impressed of the green tea power. I'm having at least 4 cups of green tea per day and my performance at lifting it's just amazing... I can't believe how strong I get lifting weights without any energy bar or any carbocrap supplement. For what I was reading this energy I get if because of the green tea caffeine that according to specialist it's more efficient than the regular caffeine.

Here is a great reading about Green Tea properties:

Also let me share with you what I'm doing. Maybe you guys already do this but for me works like a charm. I'm the kind of guy who hates drinking hot drinks like coffee and hot tea. So what I'm doing is to have a cup of hot water and put 2 or 3 green tea bags. At the same time I prepare a full glass with Ice cubes and one little bag of Splenda. Right after I empty the hot tea into the glass full of ice. That way 80% of the ice is melted and you have a great healthy refreshing beverage. Sometimes I put like half lime to it for better taste.

So far I have been using at work (Free Tea :) Biggelow brand name and also Lipton (Green Tea with Gingsen and Lemon)
