Ive got to, my hands are soft from working on computers all day and it just rips my hands to pieces if i dont use gloves. I dont have that tough layer of skin yet

I can put out a cigarrette in my hands. If I were to ever get the idea to wear gloves, I hope someone kicks me in the nuts to make sure they are still there.

Seriously, don't wear the gloves unless you have some sort of medical condition that causes you crippling hand problems without them. Gloves are not allowed in my Dungeon. Chalk is great, straps are frowned upon, but allowed. Belts are OK, but gloves, and leg warmers are not for us.

If you go without them, it won't be long and your hands will be tough and callused. Especially if you pull a lot. Ya gott feel the steel.

I don't think I could ever wear gloves. If grip is your issue chalk is a godsend! Just build up the calluses. I think my gf would be pissed if I wore gloves, cause she has a strange obsession with pulling my calluses off!

Pineapple Devil: Try it without gloves for a while...or do 1/2 of your sets without them. It takes time, but you saw me deadlift without mine. I say that it really does help to not use gloves... You can get a better grip without them...

I'm thinking about getting gloves cause I hate all the callouses on my hands. I can't even touch a girl without scratching and cutting her all up. So every couple of weeks I have to remove the dead skin with a knife, and then use sand paper to smoothen everything out. Doesn't last long though.

However, I find that gloves don't give me enough grip. Is there any type or brand of glove that provides a good feel and grip out there?
