Im looking to start bulking up now. And i was wondering what would be a good diet to meet my goals. I know i need to be eating alot but the thing is since i'm still in highschool it's hard to eat every 3-4 hours. So what foods would u guys reccomended to take to school maybe as a lunch or to eat between a class. I've read if i im not eating right i won't be getting the results i want.

whats your weight?

eggs&oatmeal breakfast some milk
take some nuts with you to munch on before lunch and maybe after or even a PB&J
lunch try a chicken breast on wheat and a salad
get some protein snack food between classes
get home and eat right away some more oatmeal and eggs or chicken tuna
2-3 hours have another meal with some complex carbs and meat
2-3 hours another meal just like it.

this is just ruff but you get the idea how are you with just general cooking? know how to use a skillet or a george foreman? cause you will most likely be cooking all your food

all your meals are mostly the same but try to get some good carbs in before you go lifting so you have some energy

i should be around 155 pounds
and i do know how to use a skillet and the george forman grill
could you guys give me a few examples of complex carbs because ive been
hearing that alot when it comes to diet

Good sources of complex carbs come from potatoes, oats, breads, and cereals are the main sources. They're found in grains, fruits, legumes (peas and beans), and other vegetables. Precooking your meals will make this all much easier for you. Cook for 2-3 days, and make sure you have plenty to eat. If you can, try to make a healthy snack, like a protein bar, to eat when you can't have a real meal.

Quick foods between classes, I know that one.

You can make your own protein bars

100 g oats

2-3eggs or egg whites

100 ml of milk or water

2 tablespoons peanut butter

50-100 g whey protein (chocolate I like best)

Sprinkle in some splenda

Add extra cocoa if you like chocolate

Put in a greased baking tin (I use the one calorie spray stuff)

Cook at about 250 degrees celcius for about 20 min

Other great 'quick' stuff

-Seeds and nuts

-rice cakes, oat cakes, good wholemeal bread with a bit of chicken, turkey, beef (I roast my own and then do my own slices)

grains.. feh.. ditch the grains. You know how they fatten beef in feedlot? feed them grain...

The base of the food pyramid is the basis of hyperinsulinimia.
