Waxy Maize on Keto on cycle?

decade82

New member
I've just started my first cutting cycle of

test p 100 eod
75 mast p eod
60 var Ed

Been on Keto diet for 2 weeks and enjoying the results.

Mix weights n cardio 5-6 times a week

Given that I'm trying to cut body fat (currently 15%) my glycogen stores are empty on keto and my muscle building potential on cycle is negatively effected, I was thinking if I was to introduce WAXY MAIZE for the pre and post workouts I may be able to mediate this negative effect on muscle growth (still on strict keto otherwise). Of course, it will kick me out of ketosis, something I'm not happy about. But perhaps there is a sweet spot here, best of both worlds...

QUESTION

Any cutting guys or gals tried this in similar situation ? Results ?

Thank you!

You're thinking about a TKD; in a TKD carbs are used post-workout only. I don't suggest TKDs for everyone, but some individuals can pull it off, especially if you use something like N2Slin and monitor your glucose levels.
