Waist looking FATTER on CKD, but...

Is it just me, or does your waist (love handles) look fatter when you initially start losing weight on the CKD?

I am only in week 2 Day 5 (week 1 was 8 day keto), and I have visibly lost fat, gained slight ab, veins, slight muscle separation, BUT my loves handles "appear" larger.

Could it be (my suspicion) that they "appear" larger/fatter because the rate at which I lose fat around them is greater than the rate at which they lean out?
It's relative in other words?

Anyone else seem to experience this?

BTW, I think I have lost close to 15 pounds, in the beginning I really felt like my muscles were shrinking, but now they appear bigger.

sounds likely, for alot of people the last place to lost fat is lower abdominal and love handles, so if you've lost alot of weight in the stomach in comparison the love handles can seem bigger than they were before.
