Views on different cardio systems

Hey guys im going to be cutting weight soon and was thinking about the various options to do cardio. I used to do the higher heart cutting until a met a bodybuilder and he told me to do low intensity cardio but increase duration to maintain as much muscle as possible. Iv always been told never do cardio on an empty stomach but if your on a cycle does that even matter? Or do you guys recommened cardio after hiting the weights right away cause your depleted, or drink a protein shake first then cardio? To many options lol, your opinion is much appreicated.

I hate cardio. That being said. I just finished a show and had great results with cardio added and on a cycle.
To get best results I have found you must find out your lean body mass so you can get your maintance level. minus 4 hundred cals a day.
Cardio most important time is first thing in the morning before any food is ingested period.
Depending on your age mine heart rate was to be between 110 and 120 per min. 45 minutes on a tread mill or whatever you pleasure is.
I did this in the evening as well. It is amazing how well it works. I lost almost no mass at all.Eat clean and often.

I read an article just lately that discussed cardio before eating. basically it said.
If you do cardio(fat burning) prior to eating it burns fat. If you eat first clean or not it takes about 5 hours for your body to burn off the calories you consumed so fat burning is almost nil.
 
You might also want to look into the tabata protocol as a method of cardio. Not only does it train both the anaerobic and aerobic pathways, it has some of the highest caloric burn and rates, and has proven to keep metabolic rates higher longer than many other methods. Plus it only takes 4 minutes.

Ill try to fasted state cardio again. I did it before but kept my heart rate at 175-180 and lost muscle and have been completely turned off by it ever since. This time ill keep my cardio in the fat burning zone like you suggested. Really appreciate it man. Thanks for your input to blazer, ill give that read you suggested a look at!
