Not for me...
I married the most outgoing, hottest, immodest, funnest, most popular guy I have ever known, and he's amazing and I love him.I don't want to have to be the one who draws someone out of their shell...Too much work, I would rather be able just to be myself and not worry about someone's shyness.
I'm no shrinking violet either, but in comparison he is the least shy between the two of us.
I'm pretty shy (except around work...I'm a total goofball with customers), but i do a good job of hiding it....I tend to be drawn to extremely extroverted types because I feel more comfortable in my own skin around them and become more extroverted myself naturally.
I dated a guy once for like 8 months who was not by any definition attractive physically (red hair, big ears, freckles everywhere). We had been really good friends for years and out of the blue he confessed feelings for me, so I gave it a shot. I did legitimately develop feelings for the guy, but then I moved out to Austin. I was young and we both sucked at the long distance thing and things ended up going sour, but it had nothing to do with his looks.
That was a special case though....he is still to this day one of the most gut busting hilarious people i've ever met and I had a strong connection to him before things ever got romatic. Can't see that happening again.
hot chicks go for guys with money that are stable.. fact ..regardless of looks ..cant remember last time i seen a hot chick with a stud type(no homo)
average looking chicks go for looks..makes them feel like they bettered themselves in public eye
ugly chicks dont give a shit..whoever gives them attention
much easier for an ugly fat sucessful man to pull a hot chick then an average broad!
That depends some on where you live. I can see that being the case around NY, but down here, not at all. Lots and lots of beautiful people, and they all tend to flock together/date each other.
I consider myself quiet but not shy. Just quiet. Neither more and neither less. I am also naturally drawn the more extroverted types....I'm not so much of an introvert that can't be with an extrovert..he just can't be sooo outgoing that he can't deal with the fact that certain superfical relationships suck the life out of me and I can't go out all the time.

agreed. it makes a huge difference where you live.
out west in the large cities (LA, SF, SD) there are way more single males then females.
east in the big cities (NY, DC, PH) its the opposite.
based on that the odds you will see an ugly guy with a hot chick are more in those areas like NY, DC, PH......

NY,DC, and PH are also just generally less attractive cities IMO.
One of my best friends from DC came down to where I live now for a visit and one of the first things she said was , "Jesus, everyone is beautiful around here."
Profession isn't much of a big deal for 20-35 around here either...everyone I know works in the dive industry, the surf industry, the movie/TV industry, works at a bar/restaurant, or something fairly blue collar. It's a beach town, not a place where you're going to find a whole lot of ugly powerful rich guys coming in and swooping up the pretty college girls (unless your name is michael jordan). No one is moving here for a job unless it's dive/movie/surf related and everyone else just loves the area and finds a way to make it work. Just a totally different atmosphere than a big city.

Well I don't know what I'm considered, but I never went for a guy with money. I like a guy with good looks but not to make myself feel better, but it's what I feel hot and attracted to.
I know many peeps, hot and ugly that chase anything for the attention alone. That's about low self esteem and not looks
