I married the most outgoing, hottest, immodest, funnest, most popular guy I have ever known, and he's amazing and I love him. I don't want to have to be the one who draws someone out of their shell...Too much work, I would rather be able just to be myself and not worry about someone's shyness.
I'm no shrinking violet either, but in comparison he is the least shy between the two of us.

Shy people are not always in a shell, sometimes, they are just modest and quiet. That's nice to me.
