If you rinse it out really well, season (I like dill, pepper, ginger and fresh scallions) and throw it in the micro for a bit, it's quite tastey and less fishy.
The scallions you can buy in bulk at a BJ/Price Club sort of place, chop up, put in small zip-locks and throw into the freezer. You can do the same thing with ginger, just peel, put through a garlic press and freeze untill you want to use it.
