The High Intensity Myth (good read #3)

Good post. Jason Mueller really has a lot to offer. There are some really great articles on his website.

Good information. Even if people don't agree with this article, it gets them thinking about their own workout routine and helps break the cycle of monotony that we get into when lifting.

No flame but who is this shit bag, saying hit don't work let's take a look at some hit trainers well there's 6x mr o dorian, jean-pierre-fux,lee haney and tom platz and did any of these have guys have bad legs.
Second dorian does one working set per excersice but he dosen't do 5 he does 3 for chest,3 for bi's,3 for tri's,6 for back and 3 for legs. As for warms up everyone must do them if they are going to lift heavy weights so how this count as part of a work out if they are mandatory.

I've read interviews with Tom platz where he states on some days he did 90mins. of pre exhaust on the leg ext. before he hit squats, also he said that on some days he did 50 sets of 50 reps with 315. So I'm not sure how he fits into the H.I.T. catagory. I think many of the pros who say that they do only one to three working sets per bodypart are full of shit. Maybe you can maintain mass with a few heavy duty sets but I don't believe that you can reach mass like yates even on drugs with three sets a week per bodypart. If you could all the pros would be using this method. Good thread Audio8.
