The fattening up for winter training log

2 days in a row training makes for a tired and burned out me. The first 2 sets for chest were so light they're not worth noting

Hammer incline

425 x 5
455 x 3 1/2 - this was horrible, I thought 5 was in the bag but this machine is humbling.. when I hit the sticking point there's no grunting through it.

smith shoulder

4 sets, topset 275 for 5, new lift so nothing special

Lying DB extensions for tris, 30lb DB's x 20, 15 ... gym closed early so I didnt get the 3 x 20 I was planning. No ego is getting involved with my iso work

NOT me, but that's one hell of a strength feat right there.. I'd love to get that many reps with 5 plates, never mind 6 :worried:
 
Did you see the ever present "not a full ROM" comments. I understand these at low weights w/ newbie lifters, but if you can bench over 400 I think whatever your doing is for some purpose, and not to cheat anf ROM...

Smith Decline, even shallower than last time (and harder)

405 x 5, 455 x 4+1, 405 x 7

Hammer pulldown, one arm at a time

4 plates/side x 5, 5 pps x 5, 5.5 pps x 5 (heaved a bit)

Hammer shoulder press

3 plates + 10lbs ps x 5, 3 pps + 20lbs ps x 2 (lost it here), 2 light sets of homoerotic pumping superset with touching myself in the mens room

Chest supported T-bar thing they have

4 plates x 5, 5 plates x 5, 4 plates x dead

curls fo' girls

my schedule is fucked up so badly right now I'm hoping to get 2 x upper body sessions in before xmas hits... my glute is still giving me some problems so rehab is gonna take a while :s
 
man am I tired, this is intentional overtraining before the xmas time off but its still killing me... dont know how some people do this week in week out

Prone row, 225x5,315x5,335 x 5, 365 x 3 (no juice), 225 x 5

trap bar shrugs, 550 x 11.. ran out of steam and just gave up.

405 x 17, ditto. Even the light weight felt heavy now.. im burned out.

Curls for girls, 2 sets on the hammer curl machine to get mad jacked, y0

It is messed up how that works eh? I did it for 3-4 years maybe and never winked twice. Now I cringe at the thought of it.

You do lots of "curls for the girls". Does it work? I started doing my curls in my front yard with a cigar and some slippers.
 
I like the way you think, in fact I may take the ez curl bar out on the town this weekend to see if I can impress any more young ladies.

Sadly my dbol bloat and poor personal hygine didn't impress the girl I was curling next to last night. I should have made sexy face and grunted doing my reps to get her attention I guess :(
