On a nice breezy evening, you should take her to a secluded beach, just the three of you, and hurl that thing in the water ...

*be sure to bring a 40 for the homies*

lol :)

:FRlol: LOVE IT! :heart:

Ok, Robocop is over my shoulder saying, "GO TO BED!!!"

Thanks Bunny for the feedback -- you're right, and I believe you because you've been there (not that I don't believe Ulter but... ok, so I don't believe Ulter ALL the time... :D ) :rose:

Jens, you rock. Thanks for the support and encouragement. :rose:

Shoulders -- Tuesday, August 1, 2006

Front DB Raises + Arnold Press
Switched up the Raises for the Smit machine because I didn't want to lift at my gym; just wanted to use the apartment clubhouse dbs instead.
DB Raises = 10# dbs, 3 sets x 10
AP = 10# dbs, 3 sets x 10
Usually use the 12# for Arnold Press but not available, however, I managed to wear myself out entirely because 1) I did my chest and back yesterday so I'm sore from that... and 2) because I was using 10s for the raises, which is TOUGH.

Side Lateral Raises + Bent-Over Rear DB Laterals
SLR = 10# dbs, 3 sets x 10
BOL = 10# dbs, 3 sets x 10
Again, went down on the db weight with BOL... but 10# on SLR is higher for me than usual, so it balanced out and challenged me.

No ab work tonight! Did it yesterday! I'm just making up for the "no-lifting-mini-vacation" weekend.

No extra cardio tonight... OR THIS MORNING. My right hip is effin' killin' me... but I think I can walk in the morning. Walking doesn't hurt it... only things that involve me LIFTING my hip socket do (e.g. going UP stairs... so stairmill is out).

What killed it this time? The rowing machine Monday morning. Lovely. :rolleyes:

K, Night.

And I've been there girlfriend ... :FRlol: LMAO at robocop :)

ANYTIME T-Cake ... You kinda have to experience it for yourself, go thru the self realization process, hear what others have to say, and it's not that you don't appreciate what those people are telling you (the ones right in front of you with a big heart & never the one to say "I told ya so" in a rude fashion, just let you learn for yourself after showing you the way, offering you guidance ... you know the type :heart: ) SO, YES, outside clarification is often needed & necessary ... ya know? I hope that makes sense :)

Happy Hump Day... Take it easy on the guy will ya?! No more handcuffs :velvett: He dang near ripper his arm off :D

I'm so dead....

So this was Let's beat up on the injured guy Day huh?
I agree no one should listen to one source for training/diet information. That's why T-Cake went to Curgeo first and still contacts him when I change her workouts to make sure he approves. He's better at it than I am so why not?

Would you rather sit in the lawn chair under the umbrella & have everyone bring you cool drinks & fan you with a palm leaf??

I joke with him in public all the time about how I broke his arm and I'll break the other one too. It gets to be pretty comical... well for me at least. :qt::verygood:

I'm seriously exhausted -- didn't even get home from work tonight til 7pm, and then I cooked dinner which was WAYYY too spicy... and then it was 8... then I got some news I didn't like... so then I was upset. That and the exhaustion and stress of this week is just catching up with me. I wish I had time to really do things for myself right now... but my body is begging for rest.

Although, I did get home late tonight because I went to get a consult on my abdominoplasty that I plan to get next summer. I need to get to my goal weight first, another 30 lbs to lose... but I wanted to discuss the extra skin and what to expect. Looks like recovery will be about 2-3 days at home with help, one night in the hospital, and then 4 weeks til I can resume normal activity and 6 weeks til I can lift again.

Most important is that I will need to be in great shape when I go IN for the surgery so that my recovery will be speedy. I'm terrified about it... :worried: but you know -- I worked so damn hard to get this body and it is just not physically possible for me to have a flat stomach and hips because of that damn skin from when I was obese. :mad: :( Really saddens me that I have to go through such extreme measures... and embarassing too... but I'm learning to accept that I did my part... and some things just have to happen for me to look my ideal.

:wavey: Night.
