Thanks ladies for all the nice compliments. I was telling Ulter last night, "Oh come on, they'll barely remember me!"Roonytunes said:
I am SO happy to see you stop by!! You've certainly been missed. Thanks for your signature mega update and can I just say what an inspiration you are?! You've not just changed your body, but also transformed your entire life!!! I can sense the happiness just from your posting. Way to go, girl!!
I still think of you everytime I see a Panera and I've also become a daily subscriber of the Hungrygirl emails now.
I would love to see pics at some point, but I hope you feel proud of all your accomplishments every single time you look in that mirror.
You MUST be kidding .. we dont remember you? lolT-Cake said:Thanks ladies for all the nice compliments. I was telling Ulter last night, "Oh come on, they'll barely remember me!"
Anyway, like I said, I am hangin' in there. Woke up this morning for work later than usual, so I missed my morning cardio. I ususally take Wed. mornings off, but today was my day off instead. Oh well -- no biggie. We have running club after school today so I'll make it up.
I just finished my lunch of two FlatOut turkey taco sandwiches. Yum-yum! I just used some leftover turkey meat that cooked on the weekend and made roll-up sandwiches with FlatOut light bread (it's low carb, high protien, so I love it).
In my lean ground turkey, I mixed one packet of taco seasoning, 1 package of sauteed mushrooms, 1/2 sauteed sliced red onion and about 1 cup of tequila lime salsa from the grocery store. Super good and made a TON.
I also discovered that the BEST brand of fat free cottage cheese is Light n' Lively. That stuff is AWESOME!!! Huge protein punch without the milk fat and it doesn't taste disgusting like the other ff ones do.
Ok now I'm just rambling.
Thanks, buns.*Bunny* said:You MUST be kidding .. we dont remember you? lol
I MAY have to try that cottage cheese, since I never eat the stuff, since well, I cant stand the taste of most.
You better run your ass off til your surgery girl, running will be very hard post op. Just ask WW
Of course we miss you.
If it works for you , milk it until it stops! That's for sure. Well Post Op youre going to have to really enjoy the new additions AND pay attention to your body. The one thing you will be able to do is cardio, just not heavy lifting, but remember muscle memory WILL come into play and you WILL be able to lift heavy again, just not right away.T-Cake said:Thanks, buns.
I am a little worried about running after surgey -- just putting those sizers in gave me a feel for how freakin' heavey those suckers are. I don't remember my REAL ones (back when I was a C cup) being that heavy... but then again, ALL of me was heavy too, so it went unnoticed.
I am SO scared of the pain! And I think I'm actually more sad/scared of the toll my lack of lifting will have on my body more so than my lack of running.
The running has DEFINITELY been the key to my sudden melting fat, Ulter and I agree on that. But something that totally change things for me too -- and I forgot to say this yesterday -- is that now I don't eat for two hours after cardio. Water only... so those 2 hours in the morning after I run are a little rough. When my stomach gets annoyed, I sometimes have a diet 7-up on the way to work or something just to settle it and shut it up. But I make it til 9am and then drink my ISO shake. I think THIS -- just as much as the running -- has been the key that finally is taking the fat off of me.
20 lbs to go! Ahhhh! That sounds like a LOT!!! *sigh*
