Can anyone explain SC (I know, he's a joke) philosophies about seperated carbs and fats in meal? What the heck is this theory all about? Does anyoneone subscribe to it? Just doing some research, thanks.
 
If you've already written him off as a "joke". Why would you even care what his theories are or if they work? Seems like, you answered your own question.
 
On his cutting diets you are essentially all protein and fats for the first 4 meals, then after training you refeed with protein and carbs.

Bulking diets follow the same protein and fats, or protein and carbs, but he utilizes more carbs at different times during his bulking deal.

I have used them both, for years. And I am very very good shape. They arent the best diets by any means. I have found by staggering my carbs I do much better looking fuller and more vascular. But for a general all around diet, his plan works.

Ive met the guy in person. He looks cock deisel. Go view his page if you have doubts...

Why is it a joke? Have you tried it? Go check out his website and see all the results he gets people. I have personally used his cutting program several times and it works! Are there other diets out there that work too? Yes, just go find one and use it. No need to bash this bro's program. By the way if you have questions about his program just ask him.

You know its a joke but dont know how it works?

I dont think you know shit and why would you want to know if you think its a joke anyway?

I used his program with success but not sure if its the best approch for me.
Swole is very professional and helpful.
Tons of programs out there, find the one that works for you but dont listen to all the bullshit from people that has no clue how it works or what it even is.
 
Easssy...I have nothing against sc and his style....relax. All I said was many seem to take the approach too far when trying toadd lean weight. My point was as long as the cals are clean, carbs are complex, etc. I see nothing wrong with food combination and wanted to get others views. I mean, eggs and oats? potatoes and steak? PBANDJ!

It has to do with the efficient breakdown of Carbs/Pro/and Fats and the chemicals the body releases to digest them. Proteins are broken down by Pepsin (proteolytic enzyme), Fats and Carbs are broken down by Gastric Lipase and Pancreatic Lipase so they can be converted into glucose. By keeping protein/fat/carb intake seperate, it makes it easier on the body to digest and metabolize. Good Dr's pass this info on to patients who have a slow a metabolism and are sensitive to carbs.
