Switching from CKD to this

I have been advised by some forum members thats since im 16 and 6'2" 160 pounds i should get off a ckd. I have been thinking about a different diet and here is what i have came up with. I hoep to slowly lose using this maybe a pound a week.... or even stay the same wieght and just drop light bf.

Meal 1
2 whole eggs 4 egg whites cooked in olive oil put on bread to make sandwich with mayo
Glass of 2 percent milk..... aprox 1 cup

Meal 2
Deli style sandwich - small bun, light ham, light turkey, 2 pieces american cheese, lettuce, 1 cup skim milk

Meal 3
Another egg sandwich or tuna/chicken ceasar wrap in as low in carb tortillas as i can find at the store


Meal 4
Whatever mommy makes me if its healthy haha, probably a good source of protein with a ceasar salad or green beans or something of the sort, if i cant eat that ill have a tuna/chicken wrap

Meal 5 post workout (if i dont workout i wont eat anything more)
double scoop whey protein in water with 2 tbs peanut butter
56 g's protein
8g's carbs plus whatever carbs are in the pbutter
however much fat is in the pbutter

Sleeppy time

how does that look, if i drink nothing but the two cups of milk and diet soda and water..... do u think i should lose on this diet. Even if i maintain ill be happy. But im eating mainly lean meals and no carbs after dinner unless its post workout. All of my meals are adjustable but meal 2 is the least adjustable as it will be consumed at schoool.... lemme know what u think and how i can improve it.
 
That is looking much better than the CKD diet. Really, you are young and trim. You should eat more often and take in good foods. Your physical activity should help you get cut, if that is what you are looking for. At your height, you could gain a few pounds of muscles.

Great! i am going to bulk in october when i get my license, i have broad shoulders so im guessing with some hard work i can put on some nice amount of muscle!!! thanks, more opinions tho too. and i reward with karma if ur answer is good!
 
Ya dude you must be really skinny. Last year I was 6"3" and 160lbs. I was so ridiculously cut at that weight that I had vascularity popping through my lower torso. Looking at pictures of myself from back then it looked like I was starving to death though.

It was nice having the 6 pack though. It was just way too skinny.

I feel better now at ~195. I just ended a bulk session at 210lbs. I am trying to cut to like 185 or wherever I can find my 6 pack again. I am close :)

Your diet looks very clean and should be a success. If you aren't putting on weight try this little treat I came up with. 50grams of whey + 2 scoops pbj + cup of milk + 8 cubes of ice in a blender. Nice little chocolate peanut butter smoothie. Just throw that into your day.
 
u need postworkout some carbs like dextrose. OJ would be cool too or honey if u do not have dextrose.
i would put 2 tbls of honey in your PW shake.
and when u eat sendwiches i would choose whole grain bred.

ya i have a 4 pack basicly a 6, my stomach and chest fat is sooooo amazingly stubborn, i lost so much weight in my legs,arms,face, and ass its not even funny. My lovehandles are gone, my upper abs are CUT very nicely, but my lowest abs aren't even showing when i flex, it sucks. Im going to go on yohimburn i think, i dont know. What do u all think??? btw this diet is meant to SLOWLY lose weight just by eating clean. I wanna lose my last stubborn fat. Any help u can give?
 
i dont get it. you're still cutting to lose the lower flab on your stomach ... but then you say you're going to start bulking when you get your license in october ... why not just start bulking now? you're going to gain some fat on a bulk, there's not point in depriving your body any further if you're just going to be bulking up again.

but if you're intent on cutting now, I would lose the Mayo in Meal 1, add some tuna. also, it seems to me you're getting in a very low amount of calories. when you switch up to start bulking be careful not to raise the amount of cals to quickly or you'll gain mad amounts of fat. good luck.
 
The reason we told you to get off a CKD is you are 6'2 160 ibs, so you are just going to look like a concentration camp victom if you rip up, and no one is going to find it attractive. You are 16 and still growing. Limiting your calories to get cut up may cause you problems further down the road, and may permanatly slow down your thyroid. There is nothing unhealthy about the CKD other than you are skinny and trying to diet further when you have not yet reach adulthood. We were looking out for your wellbeing. Hope my blantant honesty doesn't offend you. WIll someone else back me on this one?

dude u dont have to apologize or be backed up i understand haha. thanks for looking out for me AND being blatantly honest.... its why i come here. Ok well then i guess it IS time to bulk. how is the diet above for a basis for bulking.......... anyone wanna tell me some easy ways to tweak it to make it more cals!!!! and especially more protein. O and btw, be prepared for lots of posts by me about bulking cuz i have never done it :fro: haha.
 
Fair enough. A clean, healthy bulking diet would be much better, and I would be more than happy to answer any questoins on it. Considering the fact that I'm in college to be a dietician it would be unethical for me to advice someone of yoru age on an reduced calorie weight loss diet, when you clearly do not need one.

1) increase the number of meals to 6-8. 5 meals is less than adequite for gains in lbm. You will gain less fat, and more lbm with a higher meal frequincy.

2) make sure your peanutt butter is natural peanutt butter, not jiff or peter pan. Make certain it has no hydrogenated oil in the ingrediants.

3)You need more EFA's. Add 6 g of fish oil tabs a day. Throw in some flax seed oil somewhere. 2 tbs a day should be fine.

4) make sure your bread is whole wheat or whole grains of some type, and check it for hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. You make have to check 4 or 5 brands at the store to find one without it.

5) veggies. I would like to see a couple more servings of raw green veggies during your day.

6)check those lunch meats on yoru sandwiches for nitrates.

Those are a few pointers for now. At your age, with your fairly fast metabolism, you may find that once you put on some muscle, that you may lose some body fat anyways just from the metabolic increase from the lean mass. If you have any more questions, I'll be more than happy to help you out.
