I have started going back to the tanning bed and I used a sample pack of the Swedish Beauty Safire T25... It is awesome!!! I was going to buy a bottle, but at the salon it was $60... ouch!! I got online and found it for $32 at National Tanning Supply...

I just thought that you ladies who compete and like to have a tan might like it... it really works good... I am a VERY,VERY fair skinned person and I have already got a good base tan, with just 5 visits!:)

Thanks! I am looking for a good indoor tanning lotion - I do like Swedish Beauty, I used to use one of their products a long time ago. But JEEZ, why is the indoor tanning stuff SOOOOO expensive! I have been holding out buying some because it is so much! I'll check out that site.

Swedish Beauty is an awesome line. The Safire is crazy hot though!! If you're going to use the high tingle factor lotions, do yourself a favour and invest in Swedish Beauty's Celestial Satin moisturizer. It's got some great antioxidants in it. It will help keep your skin healthy.
The reason the tanning lotions are so expensive in the salons, is because they do a huge markup, usually double to what it costs them.

I bought the Swedish Beauty Moisiturizer with Hemp and it is really silky. I really like it. You know, I really never feel any tingle with any products that I try that says tingle factor. But they do turn me really red for about an hour and then it fades to a tan color. That place I ordered mine from, National Tanning Supply has a full line of all tanning products for a really good deal. I was surprised...

I just recently tried those indoor tanners and I think they are a total jip. I got myself 5 tans for 15 bucks, and used this really expensive lotion that they sold me (smelled like chocolate, what the fuck?). Anyhow, after 5 tans (I was maxing out at 20 minutes a pop), I didn't look much different. I'm thinking they reduce the power on the machines so you have to go in 100 times before you see decent results.

Anyhow, the sun came out the other day, so I jumped on my road bike and rode around without a shirt for an hour or so. When I came back I had this sweet ass tan. I could do a direct comparison between the tanning bed and the sun because of my cylcing shorts leaving tan lines. The sun was far and away much better (plus its FREE!).

The tanning bed IS good for hitting those spots were the sun don't normally shine, but for the rest of the bod I think I'll do it natural from now on.

Plus I heard the beds can cause cancer so its not like they are any safer.
