How does this stuff affect the body? How loaded is it with carbs and all the bad stuff? I know it will depend on the type and so on but is this something that will completely destroy a diet?
it's usually made with sugar alcohols which do contain calories, despite the whole "net" carb thing. Most SF candies i have seen contain almost the same amount of cals as reg. candy. But one little peice isn't going to completely destory the diet. Oh and too much sugar alcohols have been known to give people the runs.
