So, 3 Days On Ckd For Pre-contest When I Realized

THAT THIS IS THE WORST DIET EVER CONCIEVED. Eating all that fat will only lead to health problems down the road. I'll just stick to the traditional pre-contest routine and alot of hard work that i had origanly planned. Besides, you need carbs to matain your metabolism and thats why this diet stops working after 3 weeks, I dont care how many carb-ups you have.

Eating all that fat will not lead to health problems, for most ketogenic dieters actually experience a longer life-span. Also, if you read CKD, you would know that you are allowed to take in carbs w/ your CKD on the weekend to replenish liver glycogen - allowing proper metabolic rate. The diet does NOT stop working after 3 weeks, it's your will that stopped working.

Im not knocking, but its just not for me. I put on too much training in the past year to throw it all away and come in looking small and flat. For the recreational dieter its ok. however, for competing natural bodybuilders I wouldn't recomend this. Entirely too much catabolism going on here.

Yup, it's not for everyone. By far, some people do have a problem doing a CKD b/c of the quazi-notion that low-carbs have brought w/ them. Try doing: 50%protein/20%carbs/30%fat, that might work for you.

im going to use those exact ratios. Its not the low carbs that get me,its just all that damn fat. wreaks havoc on my intestines.

Yup, for some it's an issue, it just takes time getting used too. Good luck with your contest :)

well, if your around the 300 lb mark of course a ckd is gonna work. hell, if you ate 3 cups of macoroni and cheese a day for 4 months you prolly loose 100 lbs. Carbs are essential for fatloss, anyone who disagrees obviously hasn't been in the game long enough.
