What is the difference between dry sauna and regular sauna?

Is it something that's really different?
 
Life. In general has plenty of ups and downs.

It been some weird work outs. Hard to do regular splits.
Right now I’m still not supposed to lift.
I am really just finding what does not hurt and doing that.
Low weights.
It’s amazing how much the shoulder and bicep is used for other movements.
Got in a solid leg day last night.

Had an amazing leg day this morning.
Then went to my normal guy. Not sure what to call him. He has his own studio and does performance PT- massage everything.
Is background is athlete PT.
He does everything.
Super deep tissue Massage, Dry needles, cups. Scraping, compression, tense unit etc…
My weekly PT has been great getting me range of motion.
Now I am 10 weeks out and ready to start ramping it up. So schedule my appointment for today over a month ago. Very excited.
He did not disappoint.
He worked on the shoulder with his hand then he attacked my LAT. is has been tight and basically locked out. He got it loose again. Then did dry needles on the lat. he attached the electrodes to the needles and got the muscles firing.
While that was happening he put on the compression boot. Since it was a kick ass leg day that was perfect.
Once done there he flipped me over face down and worked on the back of shoulders all the way down to bottom of lats at the hip.
Yes some of that is the rear delt and etc..
He was not kind here. His use of forearms and elbows are lethal. I did whimper a few times time and said some curse word. All of that was awesome. Why does pain feel so good.
Gonna get in so much needed water.
Booked my next one for January.
Damn I feel great.
I have actually been in one of the best moods all day.
Having a great day for your self is much needed in life.

Went to gym did some work.
1. Lat pull downs. Set the bar low so I didn’t get full stretch. 4 set 12 reps 50-70 lb
2. Under hand pull down 4 set 12, 50 lbs
3. Pull over machine 4 set 12
4. Preacher curl machine. 4 set 10 50-80lbs
5. Over head curl machine 3 set 10, 30lbs
6. Tricep rope. 4 set 20
7. Dumbells 10lb curls
8. Overhead dumbell press 10 lbs
9. Side delt raise 2lb 3 set 10 ( ouch)
9. Ab work all body weight.
10. 30 minute In dry sauna

I leave for a cruise on December 27.
Yep that is tomorrow morning. Just the wife and I. Going to Mexico. Not back till January 5th next year.
Just plan to relax.

Last week three days upper body and everything but chest day was smooth. Shoulder felt even better after the the first three day. The muscles I was targeting got sore but. Shoulder did not. Back day is awesome. Chest day is struggle. ( still some pain with certain movement). Shoulders and arms feel great.
Just finding what I can and can not do. Getting all the little stabilizing muscle working is the current goal.

We got home last night. Spent an extra day in Galveston then did a 7 day cruise. We had been to most of theses ports with the kids and done excursions.
Since kids are grown and out of home. This was a relaxing trip. Got of the ship 2 out of 3 ports. Only bought a deck of cards. We don’t buy souvenirs.
Sounds boring, right?
That was the point. We got on boat and I put phone in the safe. Complete detachment for 7 days.
I hit the gym 6 out of 7 days for 2hrs .
I did their stretch lab 6 days
Went to the steam room, sauna hot tub area in the spa 5 days.
Got a hot stone full body massage.
NYE got a shave, facial, and hair thing.
Wife and I wore out the spa package we bought.
Laid in the sun. Temps 79-82 degrees. And rained only a couple days.
Ate well. Had a few deserts but didn’t eat crazy. Lots of veal, steak, chicken, lamb and seafood. Too much bread. Lots of veggies, fruit and salad.
I don’t drink or gamble. So a cruise for me is relaxing and disconnecting.
It was amazing. Lost 1 pound.
That is a win

That's great that you found someone who can help you when it comes to getting yourself back into it.

A good physical therapist like that is very rare.
 
I'm not a fan of cruises that have too many people on them.
The smaller cruises will you have better service and the food is good is really nice though.

I like the Alaskan cruise. You should try that sometime.
We did the Alaskan cruise on Celebrity last year. I prefer the warm weather. However I must say that was one of our best trips ever.
It was beautiful, relaxing and the nicest cruise line so far. Perfect trip for a couple.

Steam room and sauna is more like it.
I love them both.
Also I’ll never turn down a hot tub.
 
What you're describing is what a lot of professional athletes do. They have someone who really knows what they're doing messing around with their bodies and that know how to make you feel better.

Chest press with narrow grip decent
Chest press with normal grip is still the hardest.
I am doing everything slower than normal. No jerking motions. I ease into the motion, assess the feeling and adjust if needed.
Trying to be mind full of muscle activation, and targeting the correct muscle engagement.
After knee surgery 40 years ago I never trusted my knee and that caused me to avoid it. I wish I could go back and do it differently.
This time my mind is better. I trust the surgery and having to hold myself back.
I feel so glad I did this surgery.

After they moved the bicep tendon to side of shoulder. The shape of bicep changed.

I’ve been lazy on cardio and abs last couple years. I can tighten up waste when I focus on it. Down side is I can do anything about loose skin.
Here is me at about 6 % bf a couple years ago. I did a crazy cut and dropped down to like 168 lb.
It was fun to do it. The body is an amazing machine.

Had fun chest day with a buddy last night.
Overall the shoulder felt pretty good.
Only movement I had to stop was dumbell pull overs really dropped wait and only did 2 set of a 25lb
1. Dumbell incline. 4 sets 12 reps 30-45 lb
2. Dumbbell flat. 4 set 12 reps 35-50
Took 60 lb for set of 8
3. Center press 4 set 12 reps 60 lbs
4. Bosu half ball. Push ups. 4 set 15
5. Flat plate machine neutral grip 4 set 12 reps 90-180 lbs
6. Incline plate machine 4 set 12 reps 90-140lbs
7. cables high, low and center 4 sets 20 reps 30-50 lbs
8. Low and high chest press plate machines. Superset, 3 partial , 1 full push. 4 sets 10 reps 70 lbs
 
Killed another shoulder work
1. Dumbbell side delts. 4 set 15 reps 15-25 lbs
2. Seated dumbbell rear delt. 4 set 15 reps 15-20 lbs
3. Front delt same 15-20 lbs
4. Easy bar delt raise 4 set 12 reps 40 lbs
5.seated dumbell over head press. 4 set 12 reps 35-45 lbs
6. Cable machine all three delts
Then felt so good I did arms

I was making progress before I got had surgery last year. So last 5 or so months have been me loosing size. I am super glad I had surgery and this has been a small set back in the big picture of life.
I am pleased with the measurements.
Still cracks me up to see my calves same size as my arms.
I have reduced training calves so the quads can get bigger .
Chest size has shocked me. That mean not only chest gained but back and lats must also contribute.
Gotta get the waist back down.
I do feel amazing.

I am comfortable around 9-10%
I will say under that I start to look like a crack head. Hahahaha. 6 took a lot of work and not sure that is, good and maintainable.

I love to use the sauna.
I use two different gyms one is more old school hard core gym with some cool machines and lot of dumbbells and plates.
Little bit of heat and no AC warehouse style.
This is where my coach is.
I also use the LA fitness. This is close to the apartment and has all sauna.
I like them both for different reasons.
I wish the big one had a sauna.
I am hoping to build a home this year and incorporate a sauna in it.
If so then I can drop the LA fitness

I know that is high but I seem to use it up quick. 4 will keep me at 800-1100.
So here is what I started running a couple weeks ago. I upped my test and added some NPP a var.
First time on NPP. So far I like this.


Test 200 injection then skip 2 days
NPP 100 same
Anavar 50 mg
Hg 2 iu daily Mon-Fri
BPC 157 2 iu daily Mon-Fri
TB 500 2 iu daily Mon-Fri
Cycle support
Remidex day after each test injection
Tamoxifen
Caber 1/2 weekly

I am lifting with my brain. No jerking or snatching weights. No ego for sure.
I am starting every set with a light weight. Then if it feels good I progress up in weight.

I have a lump in my right chest. If my estrogen gets too high it will grow.
I use remidex to keep estrogen down and also use caber.
Those never help if the lump comes back.
Tamoxifen help get rid of the lump if it shows up. So it is really only as needed.
I am learning how to keep estrogen down.
Its all a balance.

The lump is not showing right now. It comes and goes.
I have learned how to control it kinda.
I have had it looked at twice. About a year apart. They did a mamogram and ultra sound.
They say it is not gyno. It is a non cancerous something or other.
Basicly if my estrogen get to high it starts to grow. It is behind the right nipple. It does get tender and I feel it.
Remidex helps keep estrogen down with my TRT.
I use caber with an oral.
If it get out of control and grows. I take tamoxifen daily to reduce it.
Took some trial and error to learn what work on me.
I try to just prevent it with Remidex .
The other stuff has help get rid of it as needed.
 
Quick and simple breakfast. 3 whole eggs and some crumble turkey sausage. Little cheese cause it is Friday.
Paper bowl and Cooke few minutes in microwave.
No clean up
3 minutes to make.

I forgot a little hot sauce today

Sweating out is actually really good. It can help you with your immune system as long as you rehydrate.
 
you should put in an infrared sauna vs. a regular sauna.

it is much more effective.
 
Interesting that being on 300 or 400 mg a week of testosterone. Only keeps your numbers near 1000.
 
Are you sure that your gear is not under dosed?

Seems very odd that you're running that much testosterone for those types of numbers.
 
That's a nice little cycle, you're putting together. Very good for recovery and joints.
 
Man, that isn't a cheap cycle but you'll have good results on it.

I like the growth hormone and the tb500 additions.
